New City Jail OIC pays courtesy visit

Last Aug. 26, Jail Senior Inspector Marlon C. Niturada paid his courtesy visit with Manong Dong as the new Officer-in-Charge of San Fernando City Jail.
JSINSP Niturada assumed his post last June 1, 2021. In his first courtesy visit, JSINSP Niturada was accompanied by Welfare and Development Officer/Jail Nurse SJO3 Fionna Grace F. Dulay.
In their conversation, the Jail Officer wholeheartedly thanked Manong Dong for all the help the City extended to them. JSINSP Marlon also grabbed the opportunity to ask the City Chief for assistance regarding the improvement of the jail’s infrastructure for the convenience of the PDLs (Persons Deprived of Liberty).
Aside from that, JSINSP Niturada also asked for assistance regarding the vaccination of the PDLs so they can be ensured of their safety against COVID-19.
In response, Manong Dong called the concerned departments to immediately act on the requests of the OIC. He also instructed his staff to follow through with the said requests.
Manong Dong told the jail officers to not hesitate in approaching him anytime because the City Government is always ready to extend any help that they may need.
Together with our jail officers, we will always ensure the safety and development of our PDLs here in #SanFernandoTayo. Congrats on your new assignment, JSINSP Niturada!
