NACC SAMD, RACCO I PRESENTS CERTIFICATE OF ADOPTION AND ALTERNATIVE CHILD CARE PROGRAMS AND SERVICES TO MANONG DONG
Representatives of the National Authority for Child Care Standards, Accreditation, and Monitoring Division (NACC SAMD) and the Regional Alternative Child Care Office I (RACCO I) formally presented the Certificate of Adoption and Alternative Child Care Programs and Services (ACCPS) to City Mayor Hermenegildo A. Gualberto in his office on April 23, 2026.
The presentation served as a formal turnover of the certification which was awarded to the Nasudi Center for Women and Children as the first Local Government Unit (LGU)-managed residential care facility nationwide following an assessment conducted by RACCO I, in compliance with the Republic Act No. 11642, or the Domestic Administrative Adoption and Alternative Child Care Act of 2022.
The NACC SAMD was delegated by Ms. Jacqueline C. Duma and Ms. Maria Elizabeth Ponce, while the RACCO I was represented by Ms. Hiyasmin Joy Nieva-Rabelas, Ms. Eula Mae Carla Olod, and Ms. Ryan Alyssa D. Espiritu.
Also present were Ms. Lorna P. Rafanan of the Policy and Plans Division under the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Region I.
The certification emphasizes the City Government’s continued commitment to strengthening child welfare systems and ensuring the protection and well-being of all young Fernandos and Fernandas here in our #PeoplesCity of #SanFernandoTayo.
