The ECQ in Brgy. Pagdalagan is lifted effective tomorrow, Dec. 12 at 12:01 am, due to the positive developments in the containment efforts of the groups and agencies that comprised the Local IATF against COVID-19 of the City.
All 210 individuals target tested all turned out negative and there was no recorded local transmission of COVID-19. As such, there is no longer a need for a lockdown in the barangay.
Under the directive of Mayor Dong, the Local IATF conducted an intensive contact tracing and targeted testing in Pagdalagan. Their swift response, with the help of barangay officials, was key to the containment of the virus in the community.
Starting Dec. 12, Pagdalagan residents and establishments can resume work and operations, as the barangay will return to its MGCQ quarantine classification just like the rest of the city.
Pagdalagan was placed on lockdown for 10 days, starting December 2, 2020.
The City Government commends all frontline workers who tirelessly worked to ensure the safety of the community, as well as the residents of Pagdalagan for their cooperation during the entire ECQ.
Everyone is advised to continue observing health and quarantine protocols so that there might be no more granular lockdowns in the People’s City of San Fernando.
