The City Government of San Fernando, La Union, through the Office of the City Mayor – Special Projects Office, conducted Lingkod Eskwela at Tulong Reading Activity (L.E.T.R.A.) at the People’s Park on May 30, 2026.

The event served as the culmination for the 26-day L.E.T.R.A. reading sessions for children ages 5-10 from Barangays Ilocanos Norte and Ilocanos Sur.

The participating children colored the streets with their chalk arts, performed dances, and participated in other fun activities and games.
The children also received certificates and school supplies.

The event was attended by City Mayor Hermenegildo A. Gualberto, and aided by the Sirib, Siglat, and Dungngo Scholars with the implementation of its activities.
