Though the whole province of La Union is now under GCQ, our government is not putting their guard down and won’t be complacent in our fight against COVID-19.
In a move to continue our winning battle, the Provincial Government of La Union and the City Government of San Fernando, La Union provided PPEs (Personal Protective Equipment) for the 59 barangays of San Fernando City in front of the City Hall this morning, May 12, 2020.
These were provided for use by our Barangay Frontliners to protect themselves and prevent transmission of the unseen enemy.
Because COVID-19 is transmissible between people through close contact and air droplets, the use of PPEs is the most visible means to prevent the spread of infection.
Our City Government continuously implements steps in our People’s City to protect residents from contracting this disease and making sure that adequate measures are strictly followed.
We in the People’s City are positively looking forward to winning this long battle and claiming our normal lives back.
