PUBLIC BIKE REPAIR STATION INSTALLED FOR LOCAL CYCLIST

Acting City Mayor Alf Ortega sees the needs of the residents using bicycle as a mode of transportation due to limited public transport vehicles during the Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ). With this, the City Government of San Fernando through the the City Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO) put up ten (10) bicycle repair stations across the City.

With this project, it would be much easier for bikers to repair their own bicycles for free.

Each stations has a 1 positive screwdriver, 1 negative screwdriver, allen screws, vise grip at air pump.

The free bike repair stations are located at the following areas:

  1. City hall
  2. Pagdalagan outpost
  3. Monumento beside waiting shed
  4. Lingsat cemetery outpost
  5. Dalumpinas brgy hall
  6. Camansi-Pias arc Police Station
  7. Bacsil ridge outpost
  8. Baraoas-Pao crossing
  9. Baraoas-Upper Pacpaco crossing
  10. Nagyubuyuban-Naguillan-Bagulin crossing

Bike repair stations were set up through the assistance of the City Engineering Office.

The City Government of San Fernando encourages all residents to be responsible in using the bike repair stations for sustainable use. The City believes that cycling contributes to a healthier, more active and greener city with less congestion.
