1,368 relief packs will be distributed to families in Pagdalagan who are under Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) today, December 2, 2020.

Lakas ng Pagbabago volunteers sorted the relief packs containing: 5 packs of instant noodles, 6 cans of sardines and corned beef, 2 packs of biscuits, 6 sachets of powdered milk, 1/4 kilo of mongo beans, 1 patola, 1/2 kilo of sayote, 1/2 kilo of camote, 1/2 kilo of patatas, and hygiene kits. 10 kilos of rice will also be distributed right after.

The food packs are part of the first wave of distribution that is expected to last for a week. Another distribution will be conducted after 1 week to cover food needs during the entire duration of the ECQ.

Aside from these, with strict instruction by the Mayor Dong to CSWDO, all special needs of the residents must be given such as water supply and medicines.

The City Government immediately responded to the COVID-19 threat in Pagdalagan: one casualty was reported in the area, while nine recorded positive. The 14-day ECQ was put in place starting midnight of December 2, 2020 under Executive Order No. 149-2020 issued by City Mayor Dong Gualberto and implemented by the City Incident Management Team (IMT) and the local IATF (Inter-Agency Task Force).
