The City Government of San Fernando, La Union was awarded a Plaque of Recognition as one of the active partners of the Department of Information and Communications Technology – Regional Office 1 (DICT-RO1) in supporting the various programs, projects, and activities during the National ICT Month (NICTM) held in J&V Hotel and Resort on July 1, 2024.

With the theme, “Bayang Digital, Ang Bagong Pilipinas”, NICTM 2024 celebrates the Filipino people and their pivotal role in ICT development through activities which highlighted the accomplishments of the DICT-RO1 in La Union and Pangasinan.

Throughout the duration of NICTM, activities such as the DICT Roadshows, kick-off of the eGov Super App, and eLGU initiatives, capacity development training, and among others were held.

Other DICT partners from aforementioned provinces, including Local Government Units (LGUs), Tech4Ed Centers in LGU libraries and barangays, and various national government agencies also received the same award.
