Manong Dong recognized the City Government drivers for their outstanding efforts to make the Hatid-Sundo Program of Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) a success amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.

This recognition was held after the City of San Fernando received a commendation award from OWWA, signed by its Regional Welfare Office OIC Director Gerardo C. Rimorin.

Because of their excellent service to our OFW kakabsat, Manong Dong commended our frontliner drivers under the Office of City General Service, together with the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO).

Also present in the awarding were City Public Employment Service Officer Roderic Gacayan, City Health Office OIC Dr. Romulo Monico, and CDRRMO Officer Julie Ann Hipona.

With the dedication of our City Employees, especially our drivers, our OFWs were brought safely back to their families. For this, we thank you and we hope everyone is inspired by your hard work and concern for your fellow kakabsat here in our beloved People’s City, #SanFernandoTayo.
