A week-long test run of the San Fernando On The Go web portal begins today, April 24, 2020. On the first day of the test run, ten tricycle drivers try out the online platform with pre-selected individuals to evaluate the user experience.

Since the City Government of San Fernando, La Union, is committed to serving you better, the Local Economic and Business Development Office (LEBDO) will expand the list of tricycle drivers that will be deployed once San Fernando On The Go officially launches. Interested tricycle drivers will be invited to register online. Drivers who will qualify after the interview will go through the System User Training in time for the official launch.

Furthermore, City Mayor Alf Ortega also asked LEBDO to collaborate with local business establishments providing basic commodities to ease up the implementation scheme. With this partnership, local business establishments can offer fast lanes to On the GO drivers.

All the inputs that will be gathered during the duration of the test will be used to update the general guidelines, terms, and, most importantly, the improvement of the platform’s efficiency and effectiveness.

The City Government of San Fernando La Union continues to provide the best of services to its citizens amid this crisis. #SanFernandoOnTheGo was developed to provide an easier way of procuring goods during the community quarantine. It was also created to allow tricycle drivers a means to earn while mass public transportation is suspended.
