The City Government partners with Solo Parents to create protective suits that will augment the lack of available Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in the City.
The four solo parents namely ate Maricel Estrada, Maria Castillon, Monalisa Gacayan, and Remy Manilhig created the suits at their respective homes.
With their skills, they have produced 70 protective suits which will be used by Frontline Heroes in different hospitals in the City.
With the Saringit Community Enterprise Incubator Program of the City Local Economic and Business Development Office (LEBDO), these solo parents have been trained to sew and craft beautiful creations with their hands.
Our strength to help in these trying times – are our modern heroes who’s working around the clock to protect us from Covid-19.
Like our solo parents, people are motivated in working together to bring genuine solutions and hope to the problems that we face.
