200 seed packs will be distributed to 42 interested Barangays in the People’s City as part of the Office of the Provincial Agriculturist (OPAG) Plants VS. COVID-19 Program in partnership with the City Agriculture Office (CAO.)
The program is aimed at encouraging every household recipient to practice backyard gardening which can provide additional food sources during this pandemic.
Aside from the health benefits we can get from vegetables, growing your own food can also be a way to spend time with your family during this Community Quarantine period.
Today, April 18, 2020 is the kickstart of the seed pack distribution.
