Canaoay Barangay Council headed by Punong Barangay Geraldine Ortega established a Satellite Market to ensure that the residents have access to basic necessities without leaving their barangay.

This strategic plan was also initiated to partly address the influx of people in the Wet Market. Primary beneficiaries include all residents of Barangay Canaoay.
