SIX BARANGAYS SIGNED MOA FOR DUMP TRUCK AND SUBSIDY PUSHING FOR A CLEAN AND GREEN CITY

The City Government, headed by Acting City Mayor Alf Ortega, signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with six barangays, granting their request for dump trucks and subsidy assistance at the Water Treatment Facility in Barangay Dallangayan Oeste, on March 26, 2021.
Punong Barangays Federico Valdez of Brgy. Biday, and Jesusa Iglesia of Brgy. Lingsat, requested a loan worth Php 500,000.00 for the purchase of garbage truck to be used for the management of solid waste disposal.
Additionally, four Punong Barangays Charlie Galvez of Brgy. Cabaraoan, Conrado Busa of Brgy. San Francisco, Teodolfo Dacanay, Jr. of Brgy. Sagayad, and Maria Ressureccion Andaya of Brgy. Dalumpinas Oeste, requested financial assistance for fuel and maintenance of their garbage trucks. The City Government committed to provide Php 1,000.00 per day for the fuel and maintenance of each barangay garbage truck.
In line with the program to achieve a clean and green City of San Fernando, Acting Mayor Ortega stressed that, “Dakayo nga barangay apo ket kasapolan mi ti suportayo, and embrace as well diay programa tayo nga Operation MIA, nga very special kanyak ta daytoy nga programa ket narugyan pay laeng ni apo Manoling Ortega, Magsidalos Iti Arubayanna, ngem tatta version 2.0 haan lang nga magsidalos no di ket masimula metten,” in his closing remarks.
The signing was witnessed by City Government employees, and City Councilors John Orros and Monetski Ortega.
