The SM Foundation Inc., through its SM CARES team, brought the Operation Tulong Express, in partnership with the Department of Social Welfare and Development, to Barangay Sevilla on July 31, 2025.

Before the relief operation, the SM Cares team, led by Assistant Mall Managers Mr. Drake J. Lim and Ms. Miriam C. Baula, visited City Mayor Hermenegildo A. Gualberto to share their initiative, in which Manong Dong immediately expressed his grateful appreciation.

Also present to thank them were City Vice Mayor Hon. Pablo C. Ortega, City Councilors Hon. Ramon F. Laudencia and Hon. Joseph Clarence DG Valero, OIC City Public Employment Services Office Manager Mr. Roderic D. Gacayan, and Social Welfare Officer III Mr. Aegean  Ral. Q. Aquino.

Afterward, they handed out 538 Kalinga packs to the residents of Barangay Sevilla, held in the barangay’s covered court.

Meanwhile, there are also 289 Kalinga packs that were given to Barangay Council of San Vicente, which will be distributed later on.
