STICC APPROVES CSFLU SMART AND SUSTAINABLE COMMUNITY ROADMAP

Mayor Dong Gualberto recently chaired a pivotal meeting of the Science, Technology, and Innovation Coordinating Council (STICC), where the City’s Smart and Sustainable Communities Program (SSCP) Roadmap was presented, reviewed, and unanimously approved by council members.

 

This comprehensive roadmap aligns closely with the city’s governance priorities, the DOST SSCP National Agenda, and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

 

Focused on “Kalusugan Tayo” (Health), “Ekonomiya Tayo” (Economy), and “Edukasyon Tayo” (Education), the roadmap outlines strategic initiatives aimed at fostering sustainable development across these vital sectors. It also emphasizes enhancing Organization Productivity and Governance to ensure efficient implementation and monitoring.

 

Mayor Dong emphasized the roadmap’s role in guiding the city towards a more sustainable and resilient future, highlighting the collaborative efforts needed from all stakeholders.

 

The approved roadmap sets a clear path for integrating innovative solutions, achieving measurable progress in line with national and global sustainability targets and aiming for sustainable growth and enhanced quality of life in the City of San Fernando.
