As we transition from ECQ to GCQ and shift to our #NewNormal, government agencies are now reopened to serve the people. Today, your City Government also opens our doors to the public under a special work scheme.

City Government employees and uniformed personnel started the day with a flag ceremony in front of the City Hall. The City Government still strictly observes proper social distancing measures and wearing of facemask as preventive measures against the COVID19.

City Mayor Alf recognizes the efforts of our City Employees and Frontliners who are at the forefront of protecting the residents amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. “You (frontliners/employees) are writing history and babasahin iyan ng future generations dahil noong 2020 may mga taong nagsakripisyo para sa siyudad ng San Fernando at kayo po iyon.”

He then added, “Walang imposible, if we work and continue to work together and rest assured I will be behind you, susuportahan ko po kayo hanggang sa dulo hindi ko kayo iiwan. As your City Mayor, I will always be here for you.”

He ended his speech reminding the employees that “Love, love, and love is the only key that will make us get through this.”

The People’s City will never forget the heroism of all the frontliners who are sacrificing their lives to serve the people in this pandemic. The City Government of San Fernando continues to find its strength because of these people who never get tired of showcasing their love not only in the City but in our country.
