Those who were invited to attend were local accommodation establishments such as inns, motels, and apartelles. This is to inform them of the minimum health standards set by Department of Health (DOH) and Department of Tourism Memorandum Circular 2020-002 which states the guidelines to be followed by accommodation establishments.

The facilitators of the said event also gave the attendees instructions on how to secure their Certificate of Authority to Operate.

The economic sector is one of the most affected by the community quarantine as government’s response during the pandemic. Yet, as the efforts persist to flatten the curve, the City Government of San Fernando, La Union continues to exert all efforts to allow the Smart People’s City to adapt to the #NewNormal.
