19 more San Fernando Recovery Champions completed the City Government’s Lakas ng Pagbabago Community-based Rehabilitation Program. The group’s graduation rites was held last Monday, December 14 at the ABC Hall. 

 

The 6-month rehabilitation of the Recovery Champions include a 5-day boot camp for values reformation and sessions with the Pastors’ Fellowship of San Fernando. Under the program, they also helped in clean-up drives, planting activities, and feeding programs for children in the City. 

 

Mayor Dong Gualberto attended their graduation and delivered a message of support: “nakasagana ti City Government nga tumulong kadakayo nga tumakder nu anyaman iti nakay tublakan yu. Sapay kuma tatta nga graduates kayun alaen tayu kuma daytuy nga gundaway nga usaren nga nasayaat ti biag tayu para iti pamilya tayu, para iti bagbagi tayu ken kasta met para iti komunidad nga San Fernando”

The graduates also shared their testimonies and thanked the City Government for giving them a chance to change for the better. 

   

The Lakas ng Pagbabago Program was launched in 2016 as one of the special programs of the Gualberto administration to provide a holistic approach and support to the drug rehabilitation agenda of the National Government.
