Through the Special Projects Office (SPO) of the City Government of San Fernando, La Union, Dugong Buhay – A Blood Letting Activity was conducted on February 15, 2024 at the Liga ng mga Barangay Hall, City of San Fernando, La Union.

Of the 209 participants in the activity, there were 183 successful blood donations with the help of the City Health Office and the Ilocos Training and Regional Medical Center (ITRMC).

The bloodletting activity was opened for the public, while other agencies like the Volunteers to the Community (VOLCOM), Team Dong Volunteers, the Philippine National Police (PNP), and employees of the City Government also participated in the activity.

Aside from the positive effects of blood donations, in this activity, we also help those who are in need of blood transfer with every blood collected.
