The Department of Agriculture – Regional Field Office 1, in partnership with the City Agriculture Office, brings agricultural and fishery products closer to the City employees last May 7, 2020, at the City Plaza Auditorium through the KADIWA (KAtuwang sa DIwa at GaWA )Market On Wheels.
The KADIWA On Wheels Pilot was initiated to provide an alternative market source for employees who work from 8 AM-5 PM. Bringing the market closer to them saves time from falling in line at the City Market.
It was also an opportunity to buy products at a lower price.
According to the City Agriculture Office, the pilot last Thursday has shown that the consumers greatly patronize the products sold. With this, the City Agriculture Office, along with DA- RFO 1, is looking at making the KADIWA On Wheels available to the public next Thursday. (May 21, 2020)
