The City Government of San Fernando, La Union headed by City Mayor Alf Ortega along with Vice Mayor Chary Nisce entered into a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Regional Office 1 headed by Regional Director Grace Falgui- Baluyan and Assistant Regional Director Daria Mingaracal for the replication of the City’s Document Tracking System (DTS.)

DTI-RO1 is the first national government agency that has entered into a MOA with the City Government for the DTS.

DTS was developed by the City Information Communications Technology Section aimed at enhancing the delivery of public service of the government. This tool will make the government a better, more efficient and effective server to the public.

The latest version of the DTS, which is replicated by DTI-RO1 is compliant with the Ease of Doing Business Act of 2018 or Republic Act 11032.

Also present are Councilor Rodolfo M. Abat, DTI Provincial Director Merly Membrere, DTI Information Officer Joyce Segui-Sabado, City Administrator Officer Atty. Aileen Lubiano, City Legal Officer Atty. Marivic R. Estrada-Rimando, LEBDO Officer Sally Medrano, and KMCC Officer in charge Engr. Germie Deang.

The signing was held at the Mayor’s Conference Room.
