San Fernando receives commendation from OWWA

For its invaluable support to the Hatid-Sundo Program of the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA), the City of San Fernando received a commendation award signed by Regional Welfare Office 1 OIC Director Gerardo C. Rimorin.
To recognize the City’s commitment to the safe return of its OFW residents, the certificate was personally given to Manong Dong by Overseas Workers Welfare Officer III Ms. Rhoda Nilda R. Lee and Family Welfare Officer Mr. Khristian Paul Maglaya.
Manong Dong dedicates this award to the City Health Office and City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office staff who were on the ground, helping our OFWs get safely to their homes. He recognizes their invaluable help to the success of the Hatid-Sundo Program in San Fernando.
Also present in the awarding were LEBDO Officer Ms. Rizalyn Medrano, City Public Employment Service Officer Roderic Gacayan, and the officers of the City Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office.
Rest assured that the City will continue doing its best to ensure the welfare of our OFWs because we want all our citizens to be safe as they return to their families here in #SanFernandoTayo.
