Tanqui Terminal is newly identified as the central loading and unloading area for public utility jeepneys (PUJ’s) plying across the City. Located in front of the Philippine National Police Main Station, it will serve as the central
terminal for eastbound, northbound and southbound public transportation.
Today, the City Mayor Alf Ortega together with City Councilor John Orros, Chief of Police Percival Pineda, and several city employees inspected the Tanqui Terminal.
To cater our arriving passengers, tricycles are on standby to provide transportation to reach specific destinations.
Moreover, barangay tanods, police officers, and volunteers from La Union Vibrant Riders (LUVR) are present to maintain peace and order and provide necessary assistance to the drivers and passengers.
As we transition to the new normal, the City Government strives to provide satisfactory services making sure that everyone is healthy and safe. #SanFernandoAyAyatenKa.
